This little trick will reduce camera shake in your photos and videos.
Tripods are important for taking great photos. Unfortunately they are often big, heavy and expensive. We will show you how to make a little camera steadying device you can carry allways in you pocket.
You need a piece of string or chain a little longer than you are tall. If using string should not stretch much. One large washer and a 1/4" camera screw or a camera wrist strap with a 1/4" screw.
Tie one end of the string or chain to the screw or wrist strap
Tie the other end to the washer
Your are done!
To use this, stand on the end of the string and pull upwards on the camera thus applying tension to the string to keep the camera steady.
